Reflections on Cpl Bischof's US Marine Corps Service

 Reflections On My Service

TO THE BEST OF YOUR KNOWLEDGE, WHAT INFLUENCED HIS/HER DECISION TO JOIN THE MARINE CORPS?
H.S. (Horse Shit) Truman. I had no choise. I got the "Greetings from the President' and reported to the Va. They called out our names and told us to say if we wanted the Army, Navy, Marines or coast guard. I said, "Army"! Then they said, "We didn't get enough for the Marines" and went down the list and every 5th man went into the Marines. I never regretted it. Today I am a proud Marine (Inactive).
