Reflections on LCpl Prejean's US Marine Corps Service

 Reflections On My Service

PLEASE DESCRIBE WHO OR WHAT INFLUENCED YOUR DECISION TO JOIN THE MARINE CORPS.
I was and still am in love with my first true love - Ms. Lisa Mori. I wantedto create a family for she and I. She said I was crazy for doing it - I remained committed.

Lisa's Mother's Boyfriend was a Marine - figured it was a good model to follow, since he got the Mom, then the daughter would haveto fall in line.

My Uncle Mitchell Fairley, Jr. served Vietnam WAR Era. I always enjoyed looking at a picture ofhim in civi's outside his sniper school training center in VA. I want that to be me.

...also in about 1983 saw my first pictures of live naked brown women with firm tits and tight backsides ... doing things that I still have not figured out yet ! I wanted that to be me to.

I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses - thought the Marines with show me a greater sense of personal fulfillment - discipline - loyalty.
The MILITARY is a business, do your job.
When you meet a friend, become Brothers --Ooh F-ing Rah!
WHETHER YOU WERE IN THE SERVICE FOR SEVERAL YEARS OR AS A CAREER, PLEASE DESCRIBE THE DIRECTION OR PATH YOU TOOK. WHERE DID YOU GO TO BOOT CAMP AND WHAT UNITS, BASES, SHIPS OR SQUADRONS WERE YOU ASSIGNED TO? WHAT WAS YOUR REASON FOR LEAVING?
I was a Hollywood Marine with a Silver Tongue.
I lost focus and became complacent , not realizing that the Big Man on Campus is not the Highest Ranking.

I fell behind the rank curb, not realizing that people truly respected me for who i was. Top Eaton did notwant to send me on mess duty (it was my obligation as a newbie, eben though that other4 eyed WM Bobbie wasn't about shyt), ... I wasa lip biting animal on Team Spirit ! Ipartied like a rock star ... made love to the Korean Women in our bar : Radar ... but I was sworn to follow the rules on paper ...Camebackfrom deploying andbecame a FOLLOWER instaed of the LEADER i AM when amonst the new faces to the unit ... after the deployment ... a bunch who later showed them selves to bea classs of Shit-Bird Corporals. ...I know better now.
