What are you doing now:

Thrown out of South Sudan Dec 13 as their psuedo civil war began. Probablywill not return due to political instability and continued HR violations. Waiting on next assignmnet in either Nigeria or Mali foranti Boko Haram ops. 

Now in Jordan and the West Bank training Palestinian Police.

   
Other Comments:

Better to have racehorces to rein back rather than donkeys you have to whip.
Gen Moshe Dyan to Prime Minister Ben Gurion on why his paratroopers went beyond their objective on their own initiative (the East bank of the Suez Canal), and instead captured part of Egypt home terriitory and a large military airfield far beyond the Sinai where the war was taking place thus causing a political difficulty for the Knesset and PM.

When the situation looks doubtful it is usually best to attack.
