I retired in 1996 after 36 years in higher education. Most of those years I was a teacher of mathematics at several colleges. I served in several administrative positions during that time also - 28 years teaching, 8 years administrative.

My wife of over 60 years and I love to travel. We have visited nearly 50 countries, have walked on 6 of the 7 continents and have sailed across all of the major lines of latitude and longitude except the Antarctic Circle. We hope to get to Antarctica sometime in the next few years.
In 2009, we traveled to Iwo Jima! What an awesome experience. We also have taken a WWII cruise from Auckland, New Zealand, to Kobe, Japan. We visited many of the places where fighting took place during the war. To name a few - Guam, Saipan, Guadalcanal and Okinawa. Fantastic Cruise.
