Last Known Activity
Cpl. Puleo was killed in the fierce fighting at Outpost "Frisco" while serving with H Company, 3rd Battalion, 7th Marines in Kroea.

He had served with MOS 405, Personnel and Administrative Section,with duty in Brooklyn Navy Yard, Naval Operating Base Argentia Newfoundland, 1947-1948. Reenlisted at Newfoundland, transfered to Naval Air Station, Quonset Point, Rhode Island,  July 1948.

January 1949, Marine Detachment, Naval Training Center, San Diego. Then, assigned to H&S Battalion, 1st Marine Division, Camp Pendleton, MOS 405.

January 1950, MOS 143, with A Battery, 1st Battalion, 11th Marines, 1st Marine Division FMF at Camp Pendleton. Then in July 1950, he is with Hq. MCS, Quantico, Virginia. In October 1950, attending Electrical Machine Operators course. January 1951, at Quantico with MOS 4011. Then, in July 1951, MOS 0300 attached at Quantico.

October 1951, rank of Pvt. MOS 0300, to Hq. Battalion Training at Camp Pendleton. 1st Battalion, 2nd Infantry Training Regiment, T&R Command,  Camp Pendleton.

January 1952, rank restored ot PFC. Assigned to H Company, 3rd Battalion, 7th Marines, 1st Marine Division, Korea in combat.
