John P. â??Jackâ?? Mattz, 77, of Indianapolis passed away on December 28, 2010. He was employed for 38 years as a Maintenance Mechanic with Eli Lilly & Company, retiring in 1993. Jack was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Ancient Order of the Hibernians, K of C Fatima Council, American Legion Post #495, and a Marine Corp. vet of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of 52 years: Bridget (Campbell) Mattz, sisters: Mary Shea and Margaret Gallagher. He is preceded in death by his parents: John and Mary (Sheehan) Mattz and brother: Joe Mattz. Visitation will be Thursday, December 30, from 4:00â??8:00 PM at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary. Funeral services will be Friday, December 31, 9:30am at the mortuary followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Condolences may be offered at www.feeneyhornakshadeland.com
