Isidro graduated from Soccoro High School with the Class of 1964 and enlisted in the Marines and graduated from boot camp training in San Diego on October 31, 1966 with Platoon 2207. When Isidro arrived in Vietnam he was assigned to Mike Company, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division. Isidro was on his way back from R&R in Formosa when his convoy was ambushed in Quang Tri Province and Isidro was killed instantly by a sniper.
