Richard Odaffer was a classmate of mine at Albert Lea High school and we were in several classes together. I will always remember his infectious smile and good nature. I was discharged a day before he was killed, so we were never able to see each other after high school graduation. I made a point of looking up his name on the Vietnam memorial in Washington DC and it brought tears to my eyes, just thinking of your sacrifice. I think of you often my friend. God bless your memory.
