Apr 5 – 10; 1st Battalion, 1st Marines, 2nd Battalion, 25th Marines and 2nd Battalion, 26th Marines search and destroy operation including a sweep of the Barrier Island which was bounded by the Cua Dai/Son Thu Bon rivers to the north and the Truong Giang to the west in the Quảng Nam and Quảng Trị Provinces.
