Memories
Operation Foster/Citrus had evolved into a regimental size OP....1st sqd was walking point to a night time pos.....ambushed all 5 of us out in the open in a graveyard with a machine gun. Brown was hit in the chest. Relieved as point we carried him wrapped in a poncho until the next morning and put him on a resupply chopper. He was my friend....
