Best Moment After SSgt Higgins gave me the nickname Fat Rat, my work stool disappeared. I ranted and raved about my stool being stolen. Then late one afternoon along with a warm beer, my guys gave me my work stool back with a Fat Rat painted on it. Thanks "Sweet Mary" and Sailor!

Other Memories Thanksgiving at Red Beach 1968, Mom had sent me several care packages with Thanksgiving Diner to prepare in them. Ham, sweet potatoes, corn and more. Surprising how fast we can "appropriate" cooking utensils, etc.
