Best Moment Naval Operations Aircraft Line Supervisor, First marine ever assigned to this position at Kadena AFB, Okinawa, Japan. I was assigned there from VMA (AW)) -332, Maintenance Control, that was deployed for a WestPac tour in 1976. Responsible for all Carrier/Ship/Land base Naval/Marine Aircraft and sometimes Army aircraft inbound to Kadena AFB. As Navy Ops Flight Line NCOIC, had 5 Marines and 5 Naval personnel assigned to Flight Line.
