After completing my 3 year controlled input with 1stBn6thMar, I was assigned as Cryptographer with the 2ndMarDiv headquarters while I was waiting for assignment orders to 3rdMarDiv.

I was assigned Communications Chief, 3rd Engineer Bn, 3rdMarDiv and would be there for one year, leaving in September 1962
