What are you doing now: After serving in the Marines for 20 years, worked for the Grand Traverse County Road Commission as Clerk of the Board for 20 years, retiring in 1988. I have created and maintain several web pages on the internet. Started out in 1999 trying to grasp the art of web page design and creation. Other Comments: Enjoying retirement with my wife, Verna and living in beautiful northern Michigan. We are both active members of the Traverse City Church of the Nazarene. We have 5 grown children, 8 Grand Children, 1 ggrandchild with 1 to arrive spring 2010.
Other Memories After being promoted to SSgt upon returning to the states from Korea, I was temporarily assigned to security duty at Naval Communications Base 3801 Nebraska Ave, Washington, DC. Later Transferred to Base Communications Quantico, VA as telephone installer/repairman. Then shortly afterwards received orders to report for Recruiter's School at Parris Island, SC
