I am currently medically retired from the Marine Corps. I volunteer with the local Marine Corps League Detachment that I founded last year (2017) as a Countywide detachment. I am currently the Commandant (President/CEO) of this detachment (Ellis County Detachment 1452).

It was a census-designated place (CDP) officially known as Twentynine Palms Base located adjacent to the city of Twentynine Palms in southern San Bernardino County, California. As of the 2000 census, the base had a total population of 8,413. The zip code of the base is 92278.

Worst Moment
Losing my Platoon Commander; 1stLT Blue, Shaun and two of my Marines; LCpl Delatorre, Jesse and LCpl Strong, Johnny. ISO OIF 06-8, LT Blue and LCpl Delatorre were killed in an IED strike and LCpl Strong was killed by a sniper.

Other Memories
Picked up GySgt in 2/7 and had some OUTSTANDING Marines in MAP 2 and CAAT 1.
