Best Moment Getting on the Competition Squad.
Worst Moment First 30 days at Camp Lejune I was assigned to mess duty. I was fresh out of boot camp and Infantry Training. I was a fired up gung ho new Marine ready to do the things Marines did and they assigned me to mess duty. Where did that come from? No one told me Marines wore aprons too.
