Additional Information
Last Known Activity:
Cpl Moiser was lost at sea and never recoverd on the night of 7 October 1994. We were participating in a multi-national training exercise in the Persian Gulf. From those who were present at the time of his mishap, they say Cpl Mosier was moving to the back of a CH53E parked in the aft slash with the ramp level and tail over the water and aft gun tub. We suspect he may have tripped on something on the ramp or the cargo rollers which were up and fell out of the aircraft ramp area, striking his head on the side of the ship as he fell into the Persian Gulf. Every rescue/recovery effort the ship could muster that night turned up no sign of Steve. His body was never recovered. Rest in peace my friend.

Other Comments:
Steve was a man who showed happiness in all he did. He was a friend who was there anytime you needed him. As a Marine, he exceleed in every task. He proved to be one of the best avionics technicians I have ever known. No matter what the situation he always made light of it all. To all who didn't have the chance to meet him or have him as a friend, Steve was a man of honesty and loyalty.
Steve may God bless you with all his love. Rest in peace my friend. Our memories of you will never die.
