This picture is of Los Angeles Marine Artillerymen among the first Reservists recalled to active duty, and former members of "H" and "B" Batterys, 2nd 105mm Howitzer Battalion, Los Angeles enroute to be among the first Reservists rotated by the Marine Corps Veterans of WWII and nine months combat in Korea with the First Marine Division. They participated in the Inchon-Seoul, Chosin reservoir and central Korean campaigns. The majority of these men were still in combat when their orders reached them.
