Before graduation, the DI on the right was the one who talked me out of reporting to MarCad flight training. He wanted me to be a 'Marine' rifleman! ... good call, and we always did what the DI wanted, didn't we! ... DI on left KIA Vietnam ... not sure of the other two. I did meet SSgt Sutphin later in our careers. The streamer on the guide-on is a 'Depot Honor Platoon' streamer awarded to the top platoon's scoring exceptionally high on all aspects of training.
