Known by all helicopter crews who flew in Northern I Corps. It was a marker used by all pilots to find their way VFR to LZ Stud (Vandergrift), Khe Sahn area and the North end of the Ashau. It was known to have a Marine recon unit on top and enemy snipers in caves on the sides shooting at passing helicopters.
