Since I served in General Puller's Regt in Korea (2/1) I was selected act as his aide over a 2 week period.
. When our WO Class graduated we had a painting of Gen. Puller installed at the Basic School. We invited him to be the Guest of Honor at a Basic School dinner. I spent some days with him during visits to Saluda Va. and two days at Quantico. Needless to say it was quite an experience. He was one of a kind.
