Best Moment
Leaving GITMO for U.S. knowing I had 3 weeks left on active duty.
Worst Moment
1968 Racial Riots in United States which crept onto military bases throughout the world including GITMO and Camp LeJeune. Seeing a 'RAT' as big as a 'CAT' on a bunker in GITMO which took my lunch and asked me "...if I wanted some of him!!"
Other Memories
Playing on the U.S. Marine Basketball team in GITMO and finishing with a record of 16-4 against some very tough opponents.
