Humanitarian service while attached to the 26th MEU. From 7- 9 June 2008 the 26th MEU provided humanitarian assistance and relief to residents of Indiana after sever storms caused tornados and flooding. The President of the United States having declared the area a national disaster, the CO 26th MEU responded under Title 10, Commander's Emergence Response.
