This photograph, taken Dec 1957, by a photographer in town, depicts me wearing my MP guard-gear; it was taken as a Christmas present for Donna and is so inscribed. Note that the bill & strap of my barracks cover is spit-shined with real shoe polish and is not some patent leather or Corfam product, which is in use today. I was one handsome, squared-away Marine.
