Last Known Activity:

Cpl. Wisniewski served as a Squad Leader, with 2nd Squad, C Company, 1st Battalion, 28th Marines on Iwo Jima.  Part of the assault wave on Green Beach One Landing Team 128, he was killed in action on 19 February 1945. by a gun shot to right side of his face.
