album
IT SEEMS MAJOR MEADE DID NOT APPROVE OF A SLOP CHUTE FOR THE CHARLESTON MARINE BARRACKS SO THEY SEND HIM UP TO NEW HAMPSHIRE. EVEN THEN THE NY TIMES COULD NOT GET THE STORY STRAIGHT. WAS IT PLYMOUTH OR PORTSMOUTH FOR MAJOR MEADE?
