500 B.C. battle cry of Greek philosopher Heraclitus: "Out of every 100 men, 10 shouldn't even be there, 80 are just targets, nine are the real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, for they make the battle. Ah, but the one, one is a warrior, and he will bring the others back." Enough said.

Worst Moment Giving my rifle to another Marine for a night march so that I could carry a couple of cases of MRE's. That Marine ended up dropping my rifle during the hump and leaving it in the road a mile back before he told anyone. Ofcourse my information was on the rifle so the Drill instructor just assumed it was me and boy did I pay.
Instructors Can't recall them all. I think we had 7 total as DI's were relieved along the way. SDI - SSgt Peoples 1st JDI - Sgt Gable (Relieved for abuse) 2nd JDI - Sgt Norwood SSgt Jackson GySgt Jones Sgt King
