Last Known Activity
PFC Vernon Todd entered the Marine Corps on 11 December 1950.

In Korea, he served with 3rd Platoon, A Company,1st Tank Battalion, 1st Marine Division. Note: In June 1951, he was in the USNH Yokosuka, Japan. (June-July), (Was he wounded?).

According to a friend, Roger, who was with him at the time of his loss, he was killed in the explosion of an enemy artillery round that landed near him.

He was interred in Austin Memorial Park Cemetery, Austin, Texas.
