Last Known Activity
Captain Devinney entered the Marine Corps on 12 June 1942.

He served as an Marine Air Transport Squadron pilot, serving wih VMR-152, MAG-25, 1st MAW, FMF in Hawaii and Korea. He was killed in the crash of an  R5D-3 (DC-4), Bu No. 56513.  The aircraft crashed when it hit a  mountain at south end of Pusan West Air Base (K-1 airfield).  All 5 crew were killed.
