20 YOA WHEN KILLED

HM2 "Doc" David Schlerf -H/2/4 said he was the corpsman that tried to treat Jimmy for his injuries during the firefight. He said Jimmy died a hero in his opinion while attempting to recover potentially wounded Marines from an ambush site.
