Last Known Activity
PFC Meuse entered the Marine Corps on 27 July 1948.  He held MOS 3500/1300 prior to Korea.

In Korea, PFC Meuse served with C Company, 1st Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division.  He was killed during the Hoengsong advance by small arms fire during Operation Killer, near South Korea.

PFC Charles Meuse was interred in Gray Friends Cemetery, Carmel, Hamilton County, Indiana. The cemetery is located adjacent to the Gray Friends Meeting east of Carmel.
