Living out each day to the fullest,working 40 plus hours a week, writing and looking for Marines I have served with. And, least I forget spending about 12 plus hours every week in a dialysis chair - I was going to say strapped down but they are only hoses that move the blood in and out of me.

I have always viewed myself as a field Marine, when in garrison a dark cloud seemed to be following me around.

I have never seen so many Marines in dress blues. I have never worn any blues, well that is except for burial detail.
