Other Comments:

"They understand that they cannot allow those who have gone before to be let down...they know they can never let that legacy die.  That's why history is so important... it's part of our ethos... it's part of who we are."

Lt.Gen Ron Christmas (RET)
President, Marine Corps Heritage Foundation

As I get older, I look back on my time in the Marine Corps with more and more pride everyday.  In comparison to what most may or may not accomplish in their lifetime, I am proud that I earned the title, a title that can NEVER be taken away, NEVER be altered, and NEVER be questioned.  I am told very often that "I look like a Marine".  I take that as a compliment, because that IS what I am... a United States Marine, and damn proud of it!

"There are only two kinds of people that understand Marines: Marines and the enemy.  Everyone else has a second-hand opinion."
Gen. William Thornson, U.S. Army
