Last Known Activity Ted Thomas cattnt2001@yahoo.com Shared the same bunker, good friends 212 Port Royal Dr. Ninety Six, SC29666Ron and I shared the same sandbag bunker on Hill 41,, most of my time in Nam. We carried that 60mm mortar tube alot of miles. We shared some good times.and bad Ken Beverly kcb@cox.net Gun Team Member Today, the Wall Replica went on display in a local park. I debated going, it has been 36 years. I was on the same side of the hill with Ron when he got the word to get his gear together and get down to the LZ. He was rotating, going home. I saw the chopper lift up and make the turn out of the canopy. I saw the rocket hit and the chopper go down. I had heard Ron was gone. I think I will go down to the park and say good-bye to Ron.
