What are you doing now:
Indianapolis Mayor Ballard has asked me to form the Mayor's Advisory Council for Veterans (MACV) in Indianapolis. The MACV consists of the City's military leaders, leaders from all Veteran Service Organizations, leaders from the VA Hospital, VA Regional Office, VA Vet Center, and other organizations in the community that serve Veterans. The power of this MACV is that we are working across organizational lines and in one common direction. Currently working to improve the outlook for Homeless Veterans, Veteran Readjustment, Economic Development, and Communications. In addition, the MACV is planning the Mayor's Veteran Appreciation Day for August 6th in downtown Indianapolis.
