I served with Sgt Nobles in Hawaii and with B/1/4 in Chulai in 65. Sgt Nobles was a great Marine NCO leader. His men trusted there lives with him. Unfornately he had cramps trying to cross a river and drowned during a search and clear operation. He set the example for his Marines to follow.
Rest in peace Sgt Nobles, you are truely missed.
