Last Known Activity
On 26 May 1967, Lance Corporal William Ray Dalrymple was serving with L Company, 3rd Battalion, 5th Marines, 1st Marine Division, in Quang Tin Province, South Vietnam. He was killed in action when he sustained wounds from a mortar blast. His body was recovered. The 3rd Battalion lost 38 Marines that day and 82 were wounded.
