I was searching the wall, and I wanted to see a list of men who died on the day I was born during the Vietnam war.I wanted to leave something for all 27 of you,but somehow that seemed inappropriate and not fair to everyone else.I did not know you,I chose to leave a message with you because I was a Marine(86-93).All of you are NOT forgotten. Our freedoms we enjoy today are a direct result of your(all of you here)ultimate sacrifice. It is sad to think of the day you were killed when halfway across the world,I was being born and given life at the same time.Maybe,a part of all of you lives on in all the children born during that time.Sometimes I feel guilty, that now I'm 33 years old and I'm still here. You were all so young....I hope you and all of the great men on this Wall are in a fine place and doing well.I wanted to thank you.So much you have given,FOR GOD,COUNTRY AND CORPS.We miss all of you.Semper Fi,Marine.
