On February 12, 1968 Pcf Raftkieth  was on patrol during Operation Lancaster II when he was wounded by a booby trapped 105mm round. Pcf Raftkieth Baker died of his wounds at the Da Nang station Hospital of his wounds on February 14,1968
He is Buried at: Rock Island National Cemetery, Section L Grave S710
