To Erica, Grace, and Tristan:
My name is Rob Whitmore and I had the Honor and Privelage to be in Charlie Company at The Citadel with your husband and father. He was my best Cadet by far I have ever known and even a better man and friend. Josh would go on runs with me and we would talk life and problems and he always seemed to have the right answer. I returned from a 7 month deployment in Iraq and Afghanistan and I feel America is a better country for men like Josh. He was a man of honor and lived his life to the fullest as you know. My heart felt sympathy goes out to all of you and if you would like to hear any stories of Josh from school or anything please let me know. May God Bless him and all of you. You are in my prayers.

Very Respectfully,

LTJG Rob Whitmore USN
Citadel Class of 2003
Rob Whitmore (Virginia Beach, VA)
