What are you doing now:

Director of Simulation, United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence.

Appointment by a two-star general to lead this organization with 32 military, government and contract personnel who manage training support with over 200 contractors and a $150M budget. In this position, I chair the Executive Steering Committee for flight simulator and training services contract that enables 80,000 simulated flight hours per year.

I am also responsible for Army Aviation’s future vision for live, virtual, constructive, and gaming-based training. I conduct simulation-based training for Soldiers, NCOs, Warrant Officers, and Officers participating in 13 separate, frequently recurring course capstone multi-day exercises totaling over 130 exercises a year. The Army Accreditation Authority for 414 flight simulators (rotary-wing, air traffic control, and unmanned aerial systems) to ensure they can safely meet aircrew training task standards when fielded, modified, and sustained. This is the same standard as the FAA places on Level D simulators.

As Director of Simulation, I am the subject matter expert for the Army Aviation Commanding General, charged with continually seeking the best technology and simulation solutions to improve training for the Army Aviation community.
